Model Technology Integration Program

In-depth description of research project conducted to determine the effects of a new technology integration program on 5th grade students and teachers. Developed and implemented by Futurekids, the Model Technology Integration (MTI) program consisted of professional development, student curriculum, and the integration of technology. This study focused on both the students and teachers who participated in the program. Students were examined for growth in computer literacy and changes in student attitudes toward technology. Grades, attendance, and time-on-task were tracked for patterns of change. Teachers were investigated for their increased computer knowledge and their use of technology in the classroom.
