Working directly with educators, our goal is to overcome the "disconnect" that typically exists between a district's investment in technology and its ability to integrate that technology into teacher preparation and instruction. Through a five-step solution, we encourage a school environment that supports professional development and, ultimately, leads to student achievement of state standards.

Investigating the Effectiveness of Futurekids Professional Development

In-depth study describing how Futurekids professional development programs help improve both the computer literacy and computer self-efficacy of participating teachers. Conducted by the Center for Positive Practices, an objective third-party research organization, this study assesses the effectiveness of Futurekids professional development program.


Model Technology Integration Program

In-depth description of research project conducted to determine the effects of a new technology integration program on 5th grade students and teachers. Developed and implemented by Futurekids, the Model Technology Integration (MTI) program consisted of professional development, student curriculum, and the integration of technology. This study focused on both the students and teachers who participated in the program.

Innovation and Best Practices Project

School of the Nativity , a Catholic School in South Australia partnered with Futurekids Australia Pty Ltd. to develop a multi-level, theme-based curriculum and advance the professional development of staff at the school. Technology Plays a Key Role in Raising Test Scores Through the Development of Higher-Order Thinking Skills

Kentwood Public School District implemented a successful technology program that enhanced the development of critical-thinking or higher order thinking skills in its students. When students are provided an environment that encourages these skills, improved achievement scores are the natural result.
